Client Access and FTP Information

To access our FTP service please follow the instructions below:

1. Download the Free FTP Client from here

2. Setup client with the following information:
Host Name/Address : ftp.excelpattern.com
User ID: enter the user Id provided by Excel
Password: enter password provided by Excel
Hit 'OK' to connect.

3. Start uploading files from your local computer to the remote server.

Using the WSFTP LE Software

1. Click on the Start button. Go to Programs, then Ws_ftp, and click on WS_FTP95LE;
2. At the Session Properties box, click on New;
3. For Profile Name type "Excel Pattern ". Tab to Host Name, type "ftp.excelpattern.com";
4. Tab twice to User ID, type your Excel Pattern client username (example: jsmith);
5. Click Apply. (This saves your profile);
6. Click OK and, when prompted, type in your Excel Pattern client password.

   Note: Once connected, you will get a split screen. The left side shows files on your local machine; the right side shows files in your home directory in your Excel Pattern account.

1. Highlight the file in the left column that you want to transfer. You may have to browse to a different directory if the file is not in the initial folder.
2. Click on the right-pointing arrow button in the middle of the window.
3. The file will now show up on the list on your mason account on the right side of the window. If it does not appear, click on Refresh;
4. To exit WSFTP LE, click on Close then Exit.

1. Highlight the file in the right column that you want to transfer. If the file is not in your home directory, click on the folder where it is located.
2. Click on the left-pointing arrow button in the middle of the window.
3. The file will now show up in your local directory. If it does not appear, click on Refresh;
4. To exit WSFTP LE, click on Close then Exit
